Lesson information
Who is it for?
Children in Year 3 to 6 who would benefit from extra time and support in order to achieve the expected/ exceeding expectation for their year group. Perfect for confidence building and enthusing a love of learning.
What is the content?
The courses are based on the key National Curriculum objectives in arithmetic and reasoning in maths and comprehension, spelling, grammar and punctuation in English. We focus strongly on the areas that children find particularly challenging to grasp.
How is it taught?
The lessons are taught by a fully qualified year group and subject specialist teacher. We carefully plan and deliver the lessons in order to compliment and extend upon the work the children are doing in school. This continuity in learning allows our students to make rapid progress.
Every class is interactive and good fun, with children participating in a range of activities including online quizzes and games. Maximum class size is eight, which allows the children to benefit from peer interaction whilst also receiving individual support from the teacher.

What do our parents say?

“You’ve been amazing, and your enthusiasm for the different subjects has been infectious! We can see how much effort you put into each class to keep it educational yet at the same time fun, and all through a channel (e.g. remotely on screen) that normally wouldn’t feel natural to children. So really well done to you and your team.”
Lene, mum to Magnus

“Thank you, Shay absolutely loves his lessons. He came down so happy, stating he is actually looking forward to using the new skills he’s learnt with you!! From a boy who has suffered from anxiety, it was a wonderful statement. He’s delighted, he said it’s your brilliant teaching. In his words he learns more from you in one hour, than he does all day at school!! Sincere thanks.”
Claudia, mum to Shay

“I had Mollie’s parents evening tonight. Her teacher said she is doing really well and her confidence has improved dramatically. She puts her hand up now, much more than she used to and is mostly right in her answers. She loves to explain different ways of remembering how to do things and she is definitely in the top few of her class. Thank you so much for all your help and encouragement and the other teachers too. She loves her classes and is excelling at great speed.”
Paula, mum to Mollie

“Ruby really enjoyed her first lesson. She was actually really excited to tell me all about it when she finished. She said you made it really fun. It was actually nice that you went over place value as she is comfortable with this so a nice way to ease her into your class. She is looking forward to next week already.”
