Creative Writing is a much-neglected area of the curriculum in schools due to time constraints.  The good news is that, from just £10 per lesson, we can enthuse a love of writing in even the most reluctant writers and nurture this important life skill.

More information on our creative writing lessons can be found here.

Our Creative Writing students have been working on persuasive writing for the last six weeks.

This is an important objective in the National Curriculum at primary and secondary level and is commonly used in entrance exams too.
After watching this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3Ha6xUVqezQ we did lots of research, learned many different persuasive devices and then wrote letters to Mr Schneider, the CEO of Nestle, to persuade him to switch to sustainable palm oil or other alternatives.
I am so proud of what they have produced and wanted to share their fabulously persuasive letters with all of you. We now wait for a response from Nestle!

Here are some wonderful exams of our students’ work, covering a number of different key writing genres such as explanation, descriptive settings, recounts and newspaper reports.  Our students are given clear and concise success criteria to enable them to write to the very highest standard.
